A Call for Help!
It was brought to our attention several weeks ago that one of our Adventures For Wish Kids families were going into the holidays with some major challenges. Our Adventures Child, Cole, has been a member of our organization for 6 years. He was diagnosed at age 2 with brain cancer and his tumor grows constantly. Thus far, he has undergone 21 brain surgeries to remove as much of the tumor periodically without taking his cognitive ability. The good news is the growth has slowed down a bit over this last year. This holiday season is unlike any other in that the family deals with Cole’s life-threatening illness daily, but also Cole’s mom has been diagnosed with an incurable bone disease.
